Confirmed from Edwin A. Jones Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park with a playground, tennis, baseball field, dog park, and shelter house.
What runners say about Edwin A. Jones Park
We stopped for a quick 1 1/2 walk. The path along the stream was enjoyable and more sunny than I expected. Sadly, the rest of the park needed a bit of TLC. Maybe we just visited on the day before it was mowed.
Awesome small park. Parking close so people with disabilities can get to tables with out walking far. Close play ground so you can keep eye on kids.
I love it and my dog loves it too and you will enjoy it yourself. Don't worry if you're any wheelchair it's got concreted paths
Love the trail, but the settings need help and need more playground equipment.
Trail conditions & character

“Looked clean, bathrooms locked as many others should be.”

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfaceNatural surface — easiest on the joints and the most fun, but expect roots, rocks and mud after rain
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadrestrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
