Confirmed from Elgin Memorial Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Relaxed kids' park featuring slides, a sand volleyball court and a basketball court.

Beautiful day for a walk! Enjoyed seeing so many families out enjoying the park & ballfield. Appreciated all the volunteers working as we were walking to make upgrades. Great community service keeping the parks in good shape for all to enjoy!!
Beautiful scenery, Nice canopy over the center of the play area, breeze way, awesome walking trail. It even has a basketball and tennis court.
Beautiful and peaceful space to gather at or take a walk solo. Only wish there were less electrical lines through the park. Update: has become my favourite park to run to and the small bodyweight workout structure is excellent for a quick strength session during a walk or run.
Beautiful park! The beautiful trees and the clear stream running through it gave the feeling of being in the woods even though you are in town. Lots of tables and benches and a big wooden play set for the kids make this park a great break for the family.
