Confirmed from Eliana Chacon Memorial Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Eliana Chacon Memorial Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (112 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

🌳 shaded & cool 3 mentions

“A very nice blend of shade and sun, pleasantly populated (not too crowded, not eerily empty) and nice local fauna(squirrels and crows among other wild life)”

Nice little local park. Has a picnic pavilion, water fountain, nice parking lot and a small walking trail that circles the park. There are swings, slides, a merry go round and some rocking cars.

★★★★★ — Wondersharpie , Oct 2024

Lovely quiet pocket park, nice amenities and the squirrels have a fine appreciation for a peanut or two. A good place to take small to medium sized kiddos, and a nice little walking path around the perimeter.

★★★★★ — Jennifer , May 2024

My daughter ADORES this park. I love swinging with my youngest in the mommy and baby swing while she runs and plays. It is a great park with a variety of equipment for all ages!

★★★★★ — Kat , Aug 2018

It's a really nice, small park. Water fountains, a rest room, a pavilion with 4 tables, walking park and a new play area. No basketball courts but plenty of room to set up volleyball nets. Mostly fenced in and quiet. I like it.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
