Confirmed from Ellicott Creek Trailway Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Scenic spot with a paved path for jogging, biking and rollerblading along a creek, plus tennis courts.

Great Bike Path to go for a walk and see some wildlife. There is a perfect 5k loop that you can do for a nice walk around the park. Perfect for an after dinner walk or a run. Bathrooms are located at the entrance of the path (MM 0.0)
This is a beautiful trail along the creek, passing through some forested areas, into the grounds of UB. Markers alert mileage every 0.1 mile.
Enjoyed the fresh air and the sunshine during my walk this afternoon. Lots of folks also enjoying the weather with each other and their four-legged children!
It's a great place to talk a walk, run, ride a bike, or skate. The scenery around the trail is absolutely stunning! I would suggest coming here during a sunset/sunrise to view the beautiful sky.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
