Confirmed from Emerson Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Kid-friendly, scenic park featuring slides, swings and a playground.
What runners say about Emerson Park
“Shaded picnic area, great playground, tennis courts, and 18 hole disc golf course with lots of trees and well kept grounds.”
“Beautiful, clean park with an excellent ice cream stand.”
“It has plenty of shade to enjoy, Little Goose Creek runs right next to it with a nicely paved walking path to stroll on and enjoy the scenery.”
“The creek along the trail is peaceful and there alot of ducks that like to sun themselves there.”
Kids playground. Portable Restroom. Tennis Court. Parking. Scenic, with Riverwalk. Covered Pavilion with tables/chairs. Plenty of Shade trees. Connects with City Wide Concrete Walking Trail that surrounds the Town.
Had a wonderful walk down the bike path.Would highly recommend it. The creek along the trail is peaceful and there alot of ducks that like to sun themselves there.
Quiet neighborhood park. Off the beaten path. Most times tennis is available by walking onto the court. Protected from wind, fairly close to Little Goose Creek.
It's a quit little park. Not the best for kids under 4. The playground is for kids 4 and above for sure but the area is great for picnics and walks.
