We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Soldier Ridge Trailhead yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Hiked 2 miles in of the trail then 2 miles back. Gorgeous scenery. Trail winds up and down and along ridge. Trail was marked and easy to follow.
Great trailhead for setting out on an out and back hike or bike or for connecting to one of the other trailheads. Plenty of space to unload bikes or horses. There are great views of the surrounding area and of the mountains. There is no shade along the trail so be prepared with water.
Decent trail with some great views. Could be built better, as there are some surprising curves. Slow down and enjoy the views. Bring your sunscreen too!
This was an enjoyable trail for being so close to the city. It goes for about 4 miles one way (so 8 round trip). There are warnings about rattlesnakes but I didn't see any. There were a couple other people on the trail but not very crowded.
Trail conditions & character

“Nice trail for walking dogs or mountain biking, sometimes you can snow shoe or cross country ski it.”
