Confirmed from Emily Bayless Graham Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Emily Bayless Graham Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (116 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 5 mentions

“Well maintained paved trails, lots of shade, and plenty of parking.”

🏞️ beautiful scenery 4 mentions

“On a beautiful Friday afternoon in late summer, I saw only a handful of other visitors, most with their dogs in tow.”

🏃 great for running 2 mentions

“Great area, beautiful scenery, great for running or walking”

🌾 quiet & peaceful 3 mentions

“Peaceful, mostly flat walking trails (each perhaps a mile or two in length) surrounded by trees and other greenery.”

What a hidden little gem. I never knew it was there. Easy, flat, well maintained gravel trails. Loses one star because nearby route 24 traffic ruins the peacefulness.

★★★★☆ — Carolyn , Mar 2022

Great walking and running trails. Google map doesn't show all the trails. There is a mile loop through the park with connections to other trails. You can walk a short or a long distance.

★★★★★ — Brian , Sep 2022

Packed gravel trail which is relatively wide enough for two or three people to comfortably walk run past one another. Has some decent inclines, not steep, but good for jogging. Hard to run fast however due to gravel, but more for walking or jogging.

★★★★★ — A. , May 2023

Nice easy walking trail. Wide paths, mostly used by walkers, runners, dogs. Short loop or longer one, but even the long one can be walked in about 35 min. As others noted, it’s nearby a major road so you can hear traffic sounds but it’s still a lovely time.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

The practical stuff

  • AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
  • SurfaceMixed — more than one surface along the route, so check the segment you plan to run
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
  • ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
  • At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
