Confirmed from Harford Glen Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park with trails for hiking and wildlife watching, plus picnic tables.
What runners say about Harford Glen Park
“Beautiful grounds with a lot of history, a great backdrop for education in environmental studies, many trails to explore.”
One of favorite places to visit. You can hike, fish, cool your feet off in the little stream and look at the animals they have on the grounds. Such a beautiful park.
Some short trails (1-2 miles), wildlife, and a catch and release pond. There is a bird sanctuary here, based on the signage, but I didn't see many birds. I took my 8 year old on the trail following the stream. It was just over 2 miles RT. We saw a deer and a huge fallen tree.
Harford Glen has a lot of great trails! There's also a hawk and owl that live near the main entrance. The main drawback is that it is only open in the summer.
Wonderful walk in the woods. Loved the wildlife we got to see!(Beaver, Deer, Heron to name a few.
