Confirmed from Emma Wood River Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Emma Wood River Trail
“A little sandy here and there and it offers some great views and tranquility.”
Nice little trail to take the dog for a walk. A little sandy here and there and it offers some great views and tranquility. You can access it by going under the railway bridge at the campsite. There are some bathrooms at the campsite but you will have to pay to park there….
The river trail is all about nature, and leaving it in pristine condition. All wildlife is protected.
Good running trail. Lots of different terrain: Sand, rocks, wood, and water if you cross the shallow and narro point.
It was a nice easy trail. Nothing spectacular about it but not bad by any means
