Confirmed from Grant Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Rugged 107-acre hilltop park offering sweeping coastline views & picnic benches.
What runners say about Grant Park
“It offers 360 degree views that provide you with an opportunity to visually drink up and absorb everything from the hills around Ventura to the stunning Pacific Ocean.”
Gets very crowded, much better when they close it to vehicles and it's only the people that can hike up there... Best place to watch a sunset!
Breathtaking. Amazingly stunning. So blessed to have been there. MUST GO. Perfect for a first date all the way to an anniversary, or wedding (if they do that....idk) type stop. Can take a picnic. Dog friendly. Tables and benches scattered all around. Can drive or hike up.
I love it here . Its kid friendly my son and i have been comeing since he was 6. You do have to pay to hike it now $7 adult kids are free. There has been a big improvement since the fire. They have built little sitting areas here and there. They are nice.
Absolutely beautiful scenery of ventura and the ocean. Very nice hiking trails. Flat to intermediate trails. The cross st the top of the hill is so nice. Great place for a hike or to go have a nice relaxing walk. Definately a ventura gem. 🙂🙂🙂☺🙂👍👍👍
