Confirmed from Enos B. Godshall Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

This park has become one of my favorite locations to go hiking with the kids. The woodchip trail is a well maintained trail that offers shade to receive some respite from the hot weather. I have seen public works staff tending to the park and replacing washed out wood chips.

A small park with a wonderful trail through the woods. Portable restroom on site. Ample parking. Crosswalk allows access to Banbury-Mopac park trail.

★★★★★ — Brian , Jun 2019

Nice walking trail. Safer to cross the road since they installed a four way stop sign and a better crosswalk too. Another trail is located near the parking lot too but no that visible.

★★★★★ — Em , Oct 2025

This park was so nice, not crowded at Sunset and had a nice sunset view from atop of the hill. There are gentle slopes and a bit more of an upward slope at the last leg back to the parking lot.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
