“Beautiful hiking and easy walks.”
This is a lovely place for a peaceful bike ride, a walk with your dog or bring the whole family. There are even boat rides, geocaches or a woods trail for something different. The volunteers do a phenomenal job of taking care of this piece of history and it's a must see.
I've grown up going here and always loved it. The trails are always maintained and I love how they added a new walking area that goes for miles. There are times where it gets busy but there's always options to walk on different trails
In the seventies a small group of volunteers converted an abandon stretch of the Erie canal running through Camillus New York into a jewel of a park. Now a large group of volunteers maintain the park and provide a number of activities for individuals and families interested in the history of the canal.
Wonderful little place to learn about the Erie Canal. Nice quaint little boat ride. Great place to spend a day w kids, walking, biking, fishing. Bring a picnic lunch
