Confirmed from Erie Canal Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park offering walking and biking trails, plus historical elements.

This is a great historical treasure throughout Onondaga County, spreading its veins to nearby areas. Local history, great fun, hiking, biking, grilling, shelter. Family and individual fun. Wildlife galore, all in its habitat. A must for nature and canal buffs.
I live near the canal, so I use it often. It's an incredible resource for anyone that enjoys walking, running or biking. It's very peaceful, especially in the west. It's not unusual to see animals like deer, turtles , and fish, and many birds.
Great place to for a walk or bike along the old Erie Canal. Also a musium and picnic area. Great place to show the history of the great state of New York.
