Confirmed from Evergreen Rotary Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Evergreen Rotary Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (2,198 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 5 mentions

“The grounds are well-kept and thoughtfully laid out: clean restrooms, multiple playgrounds, a boat ramp, and short trails that pass a respectful 9/11 memorial.”

🏞️ beautiful scenery 5 mentions

“Lots of waterfront, lots of picnic tables, playground for the kids, beautiful old trees, and a farmer's market on Thursdays!”

🐕 dog-walking favorite 3 mentions

“Birds other dogs and people! The entire walk from a little before the boat launch all the way down to the ferry docks we spent and enjoyed our day.”

The park is considerably better than it was my previous visit a couple years ago. Remarkably cleaner through my walk into the park and down to the water. My 1yr Boston Terrier Princess loves to run along the waters and poke at the crabs, explore and try to make new friends. Birds other dogs and people!

One of my favorite parks in Kitsap. It has everything: swings, slides, faux grass on the playground, wheelchair-accessible playground, grass fields, walking path, historic monuments, and more. The list could go on and on. And even if you want a little snack, there’s CJ's Evergreen General Store & Catering.

★★★★★ — Priscilla , Jun 2025

Fantastic park with plenty of parking, boat launch, parking dedicated to trailers, green space and walking trails. There’s plenty of seating around the play areas, gazebos if various sizes. Green space to bring a blanket and chairs as well as a pizza restaurant and convenient store in sight.

Easily my favorite park in Bremerton. It’s sprawling yet easy to access, with several parking areas so you can enter from any direction. The grounds are well-kept and thoughtfully laid out: clean restrooms, multiple playgrounds, a boat ramp, and short trails that pass a respectful 9/11 memorial.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🅿️ Trailhead parking 10 mentions

“Everyone is so friendly make sure you back into a regular parking spot and don't park in the long spots that are made for the boat trailers.”

The practical stuff

  • AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
  • SurfaceMixed — more than one surface along the route, so check the segment you plan to run
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
  • ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
  • At the trailheadparking, restrooms, water — reported by runners
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
  • Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
