A great place for an escape from the hustle and noise of the day. I can park along the parkway, hike a few minutes and find a relatively hidden away spot to sit and clear my head, and I always walk away feeling refreshed.
Anyone with motility issues will have a hard time here. It's very hilly; even the park entrance has an immediate hill. If you don't have motility issues, it's a great little park with tons of nature and educational resources.
Local, quiet (short) hike. Has a nice kids park in the parking area / trailhead. Small discrete signs provide insight another what is growing around your feet (wild Washington grapes, etc.). A good day hike for families.
Quaint little spot for a leisurely walk with numerous paths to take. Nice place to relax and have little outings and picnics too.
