Confirmed from Exall Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Outdoor playground & sports fields, walking trails, picnic grills & an indoor recreation center.
What runners say about Exall Park
“This area has plenty of shade and it is well maintained.”
“The place is very peaceful and serene.”
Exall Park is a nice small park to enjoy a stroll or a jog. The field in the center allows for group sports and there is a basketball court near the community center. The children's playground keeps your little ones busy.
Charming park in the city. I come here almost nightly for an evening walk / run around the path. This area has plenty of shade and it is well maintained. The lap is exactly .5 miles which makes for easy tracking. There are always people playing games and exercising in the green space.
I like this park. Has a family atmosphere, has a big playground, a long distance running path so you can go out for a run or enjoy a walk with your dog, or sit and just watch the lovely view full of green, trees and people.
Took my great nephew to the park while waiting on his parents in Baylor ER. This is a very nice park. Great for walking and exercising. The baby had a ball on the swings, slides and chasing the squirrels.
Trail conditions & character
“Head a great time and even saw Park Ave rec changing dog bags and maintaining the park.”

- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadparking — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
