Confirmed from Fair Oaks Bluff's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Fair Oaks Bluff
“-- Gorgeous, scenic views of wild life, river, kayakers, fishermen, and sunset.”
'21/2 1st time review, but handful trips over past 40 years: -- Lots of pedestrian/bike activity across the foot-bridge connecting Gold River to Fair Oaks (an easy 1 mile/30 minute walk one way). -- Gorgeous, scenic views of wild life, river, kayakers, fishermen, and sunset.
8-31-25 You can experience a unique view of American river to both east and west, especially on sunrise or sunset. Keep in mind NO PARKING from northern side atleast for half or a mile. You can enter from southern side of bridge and enter the SUNRISE RECREATION PARK to find payed parking.
