We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Fairview Bike Trail yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Fairview Bike Trail
I started my visit at the Rock Springs Conservation Center and followed the trail to Fairview Park. The trail was deceptively easy in my wheelchair. Most of the trip to Fairview seemed to be downhill. Surprisingly, however, the return trip back to the Center didn’t present as much of a challenge as I was expecting.
I love this trail and taking photos along the way, there is always something different to see. I think it's time for a hike from Rock Springs to Greendell Park this spring, maybe get a few pics along the way.
Whether it’s the bike trail or the walking paths, this Forest preserve has a lot to offer for those who are looking to get out into nature. I highly recommend going to doing sunset or sunrise to get some of the best views and enjoy some of the most peaceful moments.
Serine surroundings of nature. Quite good length to trails for pondering your latest? 🌞
