Confirmed from Falmouth Community Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Sprawling outdoor space featuring dog-walking trails and grassy fields.
What runners say about Falmouth Community Park
“Nice park, has a gorgeous little bench under a tree at the far end of the field, I'll definitely come back for a stroll & see how it changes with the seasons”
Hadlock Community Forest is connects to West Falmouth- Cross Falmouth Trail. This is the contiguous open space area in Falmouth and you can get a solid 11 miles of trail. It's also really quiet. I saw very few people. It's great for trail running, biking or hiking.
Well manicured grass paths amongst the wildflowers! There are access paths from either a neighborhood next door or you can park at the end field. There are several fields along the parking route. The last one is where the wildflower path is.
I was a little confused at first trying to find the trail but once I found it I was very pleased! A beautiful little forest with a creek flowing through it.
At the very end if the road (which becomes gravel) there are lovely meadows and woods with a stream. There is a map in a kiosk to show you around.
Trail conditions & character
“Wonderful fields and dog gathering area with people as nice as the dogs they bring.”
“Parking can get tricky in the evenings, especially with multiple leagues practicing at the same time.”

The practical stuff
- AccessOpen 24 hours — no gate to beat, so a 5am or a 10pm run both work
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
