Confirmed from Fanno Creek Greenway's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Wonderful paved trails. Parks department does fantastic job of upkeep... just enough to maintain paths, but leaving majority as natural as possible. My friend and I walk the all the time. Area is pretty level which makes it good for us. My friend had issues walking due to hip.

This is an incredible suburban park for walking pets, biking, frisbee golf, meditating, hauling the kids out for exercise...you name it. Perfectly groomed by THPRD. Best place for taking in nature with all the streams and wetlands in balance with the wooded areas.

Well-maintained trail that's perfect for walking, jogging, or biking. There's parking at the entrance off of Denney Road just a block or two from the Denney Road 217 exit. There is a bike rack at that trail entrance as well (pictured).

Great trail! I've done 3 miles, but it goes farther. Not many road crossings. There are crosswalks at those places. Goes through woods and parks.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

“Although it can get crowded on weekends — especially near the Oleson Road entrance in Garden Home — I’m a fan of this paved path through suburban Southwest Portland.”
