Confirmed from Faurot Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
89-acre site offering ball fields & volleyball courts, plus a skate park, splash pad & picnic areas.
What runners say about Faurot Park
“It’s a well-kept area, with clean streets and a safe atmosphere.”
“Really good sized park and great view of the fireworks where we sat.”
Great park for a walk, playground, and splash pad. Been here to see fireworks but it’s not ideal, overcrowded.
Bring our cat here to walk around. Every now and then get to see deer.
Its really big,I didn't get to walk on the whole trail like I wish I could of. Saw the sports section.of it but wanted to go explore more of the trails. Hopefully next time.
Thank you Benjamin Faurot, You died penniless although you were flush with good karma for leaving us this land to enjoy as a public park. Great place to walk the dog, chill with your lover, drop a line in one of the ponds, watch the kiddo's play softball or just swing-run-sing in the playground.
Trail conditions & character
“Multiple restroom facilities throughout the different areas.”
“Also has summer concerts and is a fantastic place to view the Fourth of July's firework show.”

The practical stuff
- AccessDawn to dusk — the gates close, so do not plan a run that finishes after dark
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms, water — reported by runners
