Confirmed from McLean Teddy Bear Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Cute little metro park to walk or hike through or just go and play at the playground or fish at. Two small ponds to fish in. My favorite part is hiking through the woods parts though! I feel so peaceful and serene when just walking through and enjoying the sounds and smells of God’s Great Creation!!

Teddy bear Park is a great place to take the whole family. They have three ponds, a couple pavilions, accessible restrooms and multiple trails. Most of the trails are also handicap accessible. This is a great place for a birthday party, picnic, playground, fishing and so much more.

Even though Google maps says this park closes at 4, it really is open dawn to dusk. Nice gravel walking paths that were a great way for me to end the day (after long work/drive).

★★★★☆ — Kim , Sep 2025

This is a great park. It has two ponds, several shelter houses, and a large playscape for the kids. We rent the pavilion near the bathrooms and playscape. We grill burgers and dogs on the park grills. People bring their own Cornhole and walk the trails. Teddy Bear Park is splendid.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
