Confirmed from Fay Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park with a playground, picnic areas, and hiking, as well as slides.
What runners say about Fay Park
Very simple little park. But it is across from the fire station so there's a lot of excitement if the fire trucks are outside. It is a lot quieter than the castle in the trees down the road so that is a definite perk. Also there is a hiking trail just to the lake up the gravel road.
Great little park adjacent to hiking trails and a nice open space for kids to run. People are rarely on the playground due to its proximity to Castle in the Trees, but a nice spot for a picnic or meetup if you want fewer people.
A small park with swings and a small playground. A quiet spot to take your kids, walk your dog, or have a picnic.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
