Confirmed from FDR Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Large urban park offering a golf course, sports fields, fishing lakes & the American Swedish Museum.
What runners say about FDR Park

Had so much fun at the Day of the Dead Celebration: Gran Fiesta de los Muertos this past October! The ofrenda was beautiful and the performances were awesome to see. Definitely enjoyed walking around the park as well!
FDR Park in South Philly offers locals and visitors alike a true smorgasbord of things to do and represents what a modern, urban park can offer residents. From its iconic skatepark know the world over, to the SE Asian Market on weekends, picnic areas, athletic fields, and more, this is a gem of a park.
The panoramic view of FDR park is quite impressive, especially near The Lakes. There are so many modern upgrades to the park, its refreshing and just a pleasure to walk or jog throughout. This is a definitely a family-friendly area for all to enjoy Nature.
Fantastic, artfully-designed, and magical playground at this park. Nice, close by picnic area and tables. Walking paths and photo ops. Lake with pretty views. This play equipment here tops them all. The equipment is built around existing environmental features such as trees and rocks.
