Formerly Dupont Crescent for DuPont's Marshall Laboratory (now Pennovation Center) where paint products were made until 2009, this environmentally-remediated riverfront park offers a unique view of a quiet loop of the tidal Schuylkill River.
Nice & quaint park along the river. You'll see people fishing or just relaxing The trail extension has definitely brought life to the park, which was previously cut off to more people further north in Philly. I have a house in Grays Ferry and it's great to know the city pays attention to connecting the neighborhoods.
I've been here a couple times and every time it's been quiet and peaceful, not too crowded like some other waterfront areas in the city. People come here to fish, ride bikes, walk, and use the skate park.
Nice trail that not too many ppl go to so you'll have it to yourself most times. There is a small skateboard Park that you can catch some ppl doing tricks on. There are nice spots for fishing and some nice views and you can always spot some good ol' nature
