Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (195 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 6 mentions

“There is a small, clean, modern building, made to look antiquated, with two external water fountains, an indoor public unisex restroom and air conditioning!”

🏞️ beautiful scenery 4 mentions

“But, The area as well as walkway is very well maintained, beautiful, and a place to visit to get back to nature.”

🌾 quiet & peaceful 3 mentions

“This is a surprisingly peaceful place to visit being that it's less than a half-mile west of I-95 and right on County Rd.”

A small out of the way park that my wife and I stopped at after hiking at St Sebastian River State Park. It has a great little visitor center that didn’t have anyone in it but had a bathroom. A short trail from the visitor center leads out to a boardwalk with benches to view the wildlife.

Great little trail system. Good for long walks or shortish beginner explorer bike rides. This is the one with the cool highway overpass.

★★★★★ — Mitchell , Jan 2025

For a trailhead, there are more features than I'm used to seeing. There is a small, clean, modern building, made to look antiquated, with two external water fountains, an indoor public unisex restroom and air conditioning!

★★★★☆ — Brian , Feb 2019

Love this trail. Wish they had the visitor center open for bathroom usage, especially on the weekend when there are so many bicyclists, joggers, wallets, and families using the playground. Also, the section from the hard crush to the bridge needs maintenance.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🛣️ Paved surface 9 mentions

“Paved trails, not really crowded, the few people my girlfriend and I saw were doing their own thing, said hi in passing, and went about their day.”
