Confirmed from Fifth Third Gateway Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

🌳 shaded & cool 3 mentions

“Some is in shade covered by trees, and some is a little more open (aka sunnier and hotter in the summer lol) where you can see the highway parallel to the trail.”

I’m so glad I found this place! Beautiful, long trails, so there is a lot to explore!

This is a nice paved trail for walking/running and biking. Some is in shade covered by trees, and some is a little more open (aka sunnier and hotter in the summer lol) where you can see the highway parallel to the trail. (Pics are from different visits as you can see by the lack of leaves in one of the pictures lol)

★★★★★ — Brittan , Jun 2020

This is a nice stop over on a ride down Creekside Recreation Trail. The vending machines have a nice selection of Sports Drinks and a nice area to rest and relax. The facilities include a water fountain and two port-a-lets but both are generally clean.

★★★★☆ — Creepy , Jun 2016

This is a small park, right off the bike path. Has a few places to sit and relax. Water Fountain for human as well as a lower spout for your animal. Had a soda machine there but recently had it taken out. Still a great place to enjoy the morning.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

“Plenty of parking, literally 2 feet from the bike path.”
