Confirmed from Finch Brook Preserve's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Finch Brook Preserve
Pretty cool little hiking area with a large amount of different ecosystems. It is pretty well surrounded by housing developments, but most of the time they are totally out of view.
Very nice trail. While staying over for business I found this trail to do a quick trail run. Trail is very Windee by nature in quite wet a few days after Moderat Rains the trailers also very rocky at points which makes it difficult to move across quickly but all in all very nice trail.
Satisfying 3 mile trek through the Preserve...well marked trails, kind hikers leave walking sticks at start (recommend a hiking pole), sturdy shoes. Love the poetry posts along the way, gurgling Brook.
My favorite place to go to get away and think. The several different types of terrain and difficulty keeps things interesting. It's so peaceful, and a great place to take someone and just sit on the bridge and talk.
