Confirmed from Fish Creek Linear Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (612 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 7 mentions

“My biggest wish is that the Grand Prairie side would be as well maintained as the Arlington portion.”

Purchased a bike and decided to get some fresh air. Rode the Fish Creek Bike Trail and really enjoyed the scenary.

★★★★★ — Robert , Jan 2022

Great for walks even better if you have a bike the trail Stretches all the way out to grand prairie. Some cons: a lot of unpicked dog poop.

★★★★★ — Ma_Mood , Sep 2024

Laid-back park with a small hill, shaded pavilion, and clean walking trails. Fish Creek Linear Park is right behind the Walgreens on Sublett. It’s easy to miss the parking lot — I drove right past it — but once you find the entrance, the space opens up.

★★★★★ — John , Jul 2025

I love this trail and use it often. Some recent additions of workout sections and public bathroom are a major improvement. Thanks so much. My biggest wish is that the Grand Prairie side would be as well maintained as the Arlington portion. We live in Grand Prairie and bike on the sidewalk to the Matthew Rd trailhead.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
