Really cool walk. I like how the trail goes under the bridge and its pretty unique. Well you stand in the bridge you can see some sea life. We personally saw crabs and starfish from the bridge. We also saw some wildlife in the woods. Really cool how the animals aren't even scared and let you walk right up to them.
If you plan a visit to York Harbor in southern Maine, and would like a fun, non-strenuous walk by the water (including the York River), then do include Fisherman's Walk, which will take you over the famous Wiggly Bridge and into Steedman Woods. As always in the woods or undergrowth, take precautions against ticks.
Fisherman's Walk is the best of both worlds - you have access to a beautiful walking trail that leads to the woods and also a lovely ocean view. This trail also leads to the town beach, which is a great pit stop if you are looking to unwind and enjoy a walk along the coastline.
One segment on a long walk that I went on including the cliff walk, and the wiggle bridge. This is a very important segment connecting the two and allowing one to walk and enjoy York Harbor and the ocean. Many opportunities to take photos and to enjoy the fresh air.
