Confirmed from Fishing: Village Point Greenway's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Lake and pond surrounded by walking trails with bridges, plus fishing docks and a pier.
What runners say about Fishing: Village Point Greenway
“It is well-maintained, and a healthy choice to exercise in that won't make you feel as though you're walking a mile even though you are.”
“It is situated right next to this beautiful little pond and a perfect place to do your early morning meditation, yoga, and and reading.”
“Very beautiful quiet park, perfect fishing spot for little ones.”
Beautiful and peaceful spot in Clemmons! Village Point Greenway offers nearly ¾ miles of paved paths around the scenic Village Point Lake, perfect for walking or jogging. The well-maintained fishing pier is a big draw, with a stocked lake featuring fish like bass, catfish, and sunfish.
This is an incredibly underrated place in Winston-Salem, this in some ways is like my second home it is a perfect and easier Walk Place, seldom will you find any bikers skateboarders or anybody else is using this place.
Small lake with fishing pier/bank fishing surrounded by a paved walking trail (less than 1 mile in length). Quiet setting with several benches and a couple bridges. One open grassy area that I noticed. I didn’t see any restroom facilities. Water is only for fishing activities. Ducks, geese, and turtles visible.
Great little walking trail around a serene pond. Today from 2-4pm was a halloween event, the Monster Dash and Goblin Hop, and it was a blast. Kids and adults all had a great time. I hope that event comes back next year!
