Great shady walking trails, all we saw were paved. Tennis (or pickle ball?) Courts nearby the playground. Playground is great, with two baby swings and two regular swings. The Playground is small, but lots of shade for those watching. There is an adorable bubbling creek, with two streams converging.
Nice park. Lenexa has done a good job of saving the creek with a nice stream way park and providing signage to mark the importance of the area to early travelers along the Santa Fe Trail.
We love this park! It's our go-to in the summer because it's mostly shaded. It isn't huge but had what we need. There is no bathroom for my 4 year old unfortunately.
