Confirmed from Fleckenstein Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Sports courts & fields, ponds, a playground & picnic shelter draw visitors to this 50-acre site.

beautiful park. it’s got a walking trail (which is why i was there) as well, it’s pretty big. theres a tennis court, play set, bathrooms, the drinking fountains don’t work & haven’t in a few months since i’ve been going there which is a bummer, so bring water for you family/pets!

Man, this park is first class all the way! My son had a ballgame there and the ball field was immaculate, with a large brick, very clean restroom/concessions building and walking trails. Playgrounds looked very new and all grounds well maintained. Kudos to the staff and planners!

Excellent for soccer, swings and baseball in Summers and spring while amazing for sledging when snowfall is there. Spatial parking and restrooms are the additional nice features. Located on the main road has a nice visibility. Good for long peaceful walks too :)

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

The practical stuff

  • AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
  • SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
  • ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
  • At the trailheadparking, restrooms, water — reported by runners
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
