Very nice set of trails for some easy hiking. Includes 1 main trail and 1 offshoot trail (Red blazes) that goes a bit up Upper Pohatcong Mountain. Main trail follows the old Morris Canal and includes a bridge, some streams, and some canal store ruins among other things.
I love walking through the trails. It's so close by, the views are beautiful, and it's not crowded. There aren't usually many people there so good for during COVID or just for a relaxing walk.
Nice Flat Trail. VERY Green. Easy for Children. Not very lengthy though. There is only 3 Side Paths that I seen from the Main Trail. There are a Few Tree's fallen over the Path but it's overall good for Strollers and Bike's. Dirt Path. My Smartwatch recorded about a 3 mile round Trip.
First time here. Enter from underneath the railroad tracks through a little tunnel that leads up hill to a bench and trial markers. Brough the dogs, wasn’t too familiar with the trails and got a little lost but still made it out alive. Saw a gentleman riding his bike. Quite & calm.
