Confirmed from Floyd Lamb Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

So beautiful and serene! There are ducks, swans, and peacocks “Oh My!” There are people walking with their dogs on a leash, fishing by the lake! There’s plenty of shade! It’s very educational with informational posts along the way! Hard to believe it was someone’s home back in the 1800’s! The trail is 0.9 miles around!

I love this trail. I probably do it three times a week. So peaceful, and if you are lucky, you will see rabbits, and owls.

I was so happy to have found this place, we didn’t go through the paid parking, we hiked the desert portion all around and into the park, we went from desert to nature. It was such a fun day with my dog, we really enjoyed this entire park including all the trails around it, it was very peaceful and quiet overall.

Free if you arrive on foot or bicycle. Trails are wide and mostly flat. Even layer of packed crushed rock is easy on the feet and suitable for bicycles such as mountain bikes and hybrids. Popular with dog walkers but never too crowded.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

  • At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
