Confirmed from Fobes-Ebey Slough Dike Road Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

“Awesome place to take easy walk.”

🐕 dog-walking favorite 7 mentions

“Great multi-use area to walk the dog and yourself, on or off leash.”

A fantastic place for a quiet and relaxing hike/walk. About 3 miles roundtrip. See many different species of birds including raptors, herons and many other waterfowl. Salmon are currently running.

★★★★★ — Kevin , Sep 2023

Great place for dog walking and bird watching. Just wish more people would take care of their dogs business and not leave it in the middle of the trail.

★★★★☆ — Steven , May 2019

Great multi-use area to walk the dog and yourself, on or off leash. Flat, mostly gravel, 1.5miles one way from gate to gate. Most people and dogs are pretty friendly down there. On ocassion there are some "kids" down there smoking dope in the parking area and a few break ins have occured, but not too often.

★★★★☆ — Devin , Jul 2017

A nice long but easy 2-mile hike from one end to the other 4 mile hike if you want to make a round trip out of it. There's gravel across the majority of the trail that parallels the river.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🐕 Dog-friendly 28 mentions

“Would be even better if you didn't have to constantly watch where you step to avoid dog excrement.”
