Confirmed from Forest Bend Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Relaxed green space that contains a pool and a playground, plus picnic tables.
What runners say about Forest Bend Park
“It's beautiful and serene, almost like a private getaway right in the back yard.”
Beautiful paved 1 mile loop with wildflowers butterflies in birds. They saved a giant old oak tree that is tall and wide.
I just started enjoying the pool and I wish I'd have gotten my tags sooner because they will close next month. Makes me sad it closes so early. But there is a BB court, a playground ( but I believe it's not of use at the moment cause of the construction and I believe a little tether ball area.
I love this park. It's beautiful and serene, almost like a private getaway right in the back yard. The playground needs some repairs, but it hasn't stopped anyone from enjoying it. The park is full of adventures and imagination.
They added a nice paved path to the park which makes it nice to go on walks when the weather is nice, playground is a little outdated but at least there’s one here. Looking forward to seeing what else they will add to this park!

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
