Confirmed from Forest Grove Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 5 mentions

“The pavilion is beautiful and provides much-needed shade on this hot day.”

🌳 shaded & cool 6 mentions

“Only drawback is that it faces due west with no shade to block the sun if you meet for an evening meal in the summer.”

Nice, clean, spacious park. Very nice shelter with bathrooms. Parking is easy and there's plenty of spaces. Not much shade on hot days though!

★★★★☆ — Hailey , Jun 2023

Great park with playground that’s appropriate for young and a little older kids. Excellent pavilion with restrooms, drinking fountains, and grills. Nice basketball court, plenty of parking, walking trail, and lots of green space. I wish there was more shade, though.

★★★★★ — Michael , Jun 2022

Beautiful & spacious shelter for gatherings. Only drawback is that it faces due west with no shade to block the sun if you meet for an evening meal in the summer. Sun in your eyes at sunset. Planners did not recon this when it was built.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
