Confirmed from Pigeon Creek Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park offering kid-friendly hiking trails and a public restroom.
What runners say about Pigeon Creek Park
“It’s quiet, has great trails, beautiful views of the river, and lots of nature to explore.”
“So this is neither the Quad Cities' largest nor most impressive park, but this little wide spot in the river is just right for a little quiet time.”
My kids and I really liked this park! It’s quiet, has great trails, beautiful views of the river, and lots of nature to explore. Some of the paths have seen better days, but its impressive to see the impact of the river’s power.
Nice little hidden gem! Has a paved walkway that cuts through the woods. Some spots of the path has been blocked off because of flooding.
Perfect for a quiet walk. This place usually never has more than 1 or 2 people at a time. You can go straight to the river and there’s a paved walkway with a gazebo looking to a marsh
Small yet lovely park. A light walk perhaps 20 mins around the trail it self. The sandy beach area along the river is well worth the trip on a nice day. Facilities consist of a small pavillion with picknic table, and a restroom. If you love iowa's natural beauty then this park is not one to miss.
