Confirmed from Forked Deer Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Forked Deer Park
“Very clean, restrooms with baby changing stations.”
Walk the whole thing. It is a nice wooded walking area for the most part maintained. If you walk far enough there is a nice lake that is viewable.
Great playground and trail some of the trail of which is wheelchair accessible Dog park on-site splash pad and big play area
If you like time to yourself on the walking trail this is the place!!!! The reason you are alone is because it VERY VERY HOT and humid in the summer and in the winter it's VERY VERY COLD. There are no trees to block wind in the winter and no shade in the summer.
Nice trail. Not too long, and he a ramp to launch a kayak or small boat, but only of you can carry it down a steep hill.

The practical stuff
- AccessOpen 24 hours — no gate to beat, so a 5am or a 10pm run both work
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
- Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
