Confirmed from Okeena Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
City park with a pool, trails, picnic area, playground, basketball and volleyball courts, and more.
What runners say about Okeena Park
“A well maintained and clean park with plenty of walking paths, playground equipment, and places to sit and just enjoy the outdoors.”
“The park was very clean (except the men's restroom near pavilion 2) with many beautiful flowers.”
Beautiful park! A well maintained and clean park with plenty of walking paths, playground equipment, and places to sit and just enjoy the outdoors. There is also a sand volleyball pit and basketball courts. Overall it is just a great little part!
I love how the park has a walking path around the entire park. It has two appropriate age level areas for the kids to play.
Our experience has been lovely park with wonderful walking path. However they desperately need to add picnic tables at the opposite end as well as a couple of stations with bags to pick up dog poo because I don't always remember to bring any.
Such a beautiful and welcoming park. Has very nice playground for the kids. And it sees a lot of action. The basketball court is nicely fenced in, and the surface is well taken care of as well as the goals. The volleyball court is in sand, which makes year-round playing so much more enjoyable.

The practical stuff
- AccessOpen 24 hours — no gate to beat, so a 5am or a 10pm run both work
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadrestrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
