Confirmed from Fort Revere Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Fort Revere Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (515 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 7 mentions

“We discovered that this place is an excellent spot to enjoy the scenic views of Hull Bay from atop the walls.”

In the summertime, when people in Massachusetts go out to enjoy the nice weather and sunshine as much as they can, we found a perfect spot for our weekend. Fort Revere Park in Hull, Massachusetts, is a historic site constructed during the Revolutionary War.

Weird fun visit! Able to walk around the abandon fort! Lots of graffiti. Ran into a few naked women doing pyrotechnics and photography while trekking through with my nephew Levi! Good times!!!

★★★★★ — George , Aug 2022

Cool place to explore, lots of paths and hallways to go down. Plenty of graffiti around here, most of which isn't very artistic/astounding. Very spooky, potentially haunted (according to the locals)

Really magnificent Revolutionary War-era fort that was used until after WWII. The view from the other side of this fort (which you can climb to or wander around a trail to) is unparalleled. There are trails around the fort, but you can also climb or slide down into it and explore!

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
