My favorite place on the south shore to go and walk. It’s so beautiful. It’s a little steep at $15 entrance fee (per car) for non-members. It’s important to note, you have to book ahead of time. Last time, I took stuff for a picnic to make worth of my time, it can get pretty buggy, so bring bug spray.
Amazingly beautiful place! If you are looking for a nice walk in the nature that is pleasant and not too tiring, this park is perfect! The views are gorgeous! You need at least two hours to see it. I only had 1 hour before it would close, so next time I will walk further to the island that is connected to it.
A gem in Hingham, Massachusetts. The preserve is large, with large trees and a beautiful coastal trail. The paths are wide enough for a double stroller but are gravelly, making it a little difficult to push. There are also some steep inclines that make pushing a stroller more difficult.
Beautiful day for a walk and big enough for all to spread out and have some solitude. This is a great place to bird watch and there are blinds for viewing without disturbing. First time seeing great egrets so clearly perched in a dead tree. Lots of other birds spotted as well.
