Confirmed from Sanchez Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

well-maintained 5 mentions

“Well maintained with lots of trees, very large fishing dock, outdoor Pavilion for parties and restrooms.”

🌾 quiet & peaceful 5 mentions

“Nice, extremely quiet and relaxing 😌 good place to just chill, picnic or walk, and a great playground completely enclosed for children.”

Nice quiet park to take the kids to. The playground is new and there are some nice trails and open areas that are dog and kid friendly. Looks like it could fill up fast on the weekend with the small parking areas.

Nice, extremely quiet and relaxing 😌 good place to just chill, picnic or walk, and a great playground completely enclosed for children. Boat slip for smaller boats or kayacks, clean and large restroom.

Fun little neighborhood park! From The nature trails, the boat launch with the long dock along the river, to the recently updated fenced in play ground area are just a few of the many things that make this park great! You can always find something to entertain any age group here.

Update: 3/19/22 The PG is being updated it appears. The slides are gone and they are repaving the road. I assume they are adding new equipment. Great little park with plenty of space. Nice equipment at the playground. There are many picnick tables and restrooms on site. The dock walk was fun and the view was nice.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

The practical stuff

  • AccessDawn to dusk — the gates close, so do not plan a run that finishes after dark

  • ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
  • At the trailheadparking, restrooms, water — reported by runners
