Confirmed from Benny M. Woodham Jr. Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Hiking area with a smooth, concrete trail that's suitable for children and dogs.
What runners say about Benny M. Woodham Jr. Trail
“Very scenic nice trail within Tomoka State Park.”
“Shade aplenty, tad bit noisy as it is part of the "loop" so quite a bit if traffic”
“Wide concrete sidewalk path if you’re in a wheelchair, and calm Florida environment”
Great 2 mile round trip walk in a paved pathway among a pretty, lightly wooded trail.
Nice little side path. There are no restrooms or water fountains so be prepared. Traffic noise is moderate which is why I gave it a 4 star rating. Kida had a good time riding their bikes and exploring.
Awesome wide paved trail that runs from the entrance of Tomoka State Park towards Ormond Beach. It’s shady and beautiful. Has a little bridge and a bench or two. We used it twice to bike downtown from the campground. It’s 4.8 miles if you do that.
Very scenic nice trail within Tomoka State Park. Very quiet and secluded with campsites, nice restrooms with showers. Picnic tables and fire pits at each site. Nice get away place just to relax.
