Confirmed from Foster Memorial Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Large recreational area for dogs to run off leashes and baseball fields for kids' games, plus playgrounds.
What runners say about Foster Memorial Park
“Best place for birthday's always clean.”
Nice large open space for your dogs to run around. Not usually too busy, so if you have a shy dog it's easy to avoid confrontations. There are a couple of holes that dogs have dug and haven't been filled in, so watch your step.
What a great dog run park! It used to be a youth soccer and baseball field, but some adults ruined it, er, got it repurposed for dogs. The bleachers are still there so you can hang out and watch all the dogs run and play. Bring your own bag. Several garbage cans on site. Street parking is plentiful.
We love walking the trail by the Green River, especially when the lilacs are in bloom. And every now and again, you see the unexpected with the expected
This is a great place for anyone any age to go to if you want to go on a walk and just enjoy the outdoors, meditate, playground for the kids to play on have a family gathering or play a game of soccer this is by far, one of the safest communities I've been in a really long time.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms, water — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
