Confirmed from Four Mile Cove Ecological Preserve's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Wetland preserve featuring a walking trail, a visitor center & seasonal kayak rentals.

“Fun easy walking or biking boardwalk paths to bay water.”
I recently visited the Four Mile Cove Ecological Preserve in Cape Coral, and it was an unforgettable experience. The peaceful boardwalk trail winds through lush mangroves, providing a perfect opportunity to connect with nature.
Nice boardwalk path through the mangroves. I went on a cool morning in April. Most of the walk was shaded by the mangrove trees. It was a fairly long walk with benches along the path if you need to rest. The board walk leads to two piers that reach out over the Caloosahatchee River. Nice walk.
This was a relaxing short walk around the boardwalk. We went early in the morning and saw a few locals (wildlife). You can also go fishing at one of their piers. It's also a memorial for those who made the ultimate sacrifice. Freedom is NOT free!
Loved it. The memorials were amazing and I took some Time to soak those in…. We met a cHarming man who walks those trails daily and spoke with him a bit …. (Dave)…. He shared some great stories of his family. We walked the trails to both piers (lovely views) …. It was a great way to spend a sunny day.
