Confirmed from Caney Creek Preserve's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Wooded open space with picnic facilities & a playground, a dog park & a 1.5-mile nature trail.

Pretty simple park with a wide open field, great for games with your dog or children. You get a nice panoramic view of the sky and sunsets in the evening...perfect place for photography. Picnic tables are to the right of the grand staircase and just beyond that, a hiking trail system.
Quite and peaceful park where you will find about 1.5 miles of flat walking trails that predominantly follows along the creek. Plenty of parking available on both sides of the park. Dog park with separate large and small dog areas. Restrooms and pavillions located close to each parking lot.
Very scenic, lushly green trails, accompanied by a cute creek. Beautiful pine trees! We even found some mushrooms 🍄
Small play area but the kids enjoyed as it’s different than most. Walking trails with a creek for water play. Big open field.
