Confirmed from Union Hill Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Union Hill Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (264 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 9 mentions

“The bathrooms are usually very clean, the rink is well maintained, and the proximity to the trail is perfect.”

🌾 quiet & peaceful 3 mentions

“This is a quiet neighborhood park notable for 3 things- they have a nice little skate park that is never crowded, they have a great covered area suitable for skating, tai chi etc.”

To speak of the park itself - it's nice; there is plenty of parking (at least when I went later in the morning on a Saturday), there's a neat decorative little skatepark and the entrance to the massive Greenway trail it connects to is marked well so it's easy to find.

It's more of a parking lot for the trail. A small skate park, restrooms and a covered roller ring. It's a good point to park your car and bike towards Big Creek Park in Roswell.

★★★★☆ — Vlad , Mar 2022

This park has a huge rollerskating/bicycling arena, which is all covered. Its great for both kids and adults who want to ride a scooter, bicycle, or rollerskate. We frequently took my daughters there after summer camp around 3pm, and it was not too hot due to the covered area.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
