Confirmed from Fox Hill Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Dog-friendly

Quiet open space featuring a playground, benches, picnic tables and a creek.

What runners say about Fox Hill Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (72 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

👟 good for all levels 2 mentions

“Cute little park with nice picnic tables (covered), easy walking path, playground that is tucked away in a neighborhood behind houses.”

A great little open grass park with children's playground and picnic shelter. This park connects to adjacent neighborhoods and bike paths along the toll booth canal. Sunsets are always beautiful here! Three years ago ECCV Water's "waste water re-construction" project left several park areas damaged.

We are remodeling this park... new trails has been added... play ground area is going to get extended... Im also building a new pavilion I guess... Basketball court was replaced.

★★★★☆ — Julito , Mar 2025

Summary: An excellent walking area and a small park to get some fresh air with the kids! The good: Long walking path which is great for the kids to ride bikes on, there's a small park which is great for small and medium sized kids to frolic on.

There are no ziplines. Some photos posted here are fake. There is a small kid park, basket ball court, a small climbing bolder, and a place to fill up your bike tires. Great park for dog walks, learning to ride a bike, etc

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

The practical stuff

  • AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
  • ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
